Eastwoods Consulting

Eastwoods Consulting, founded in 2005, is a strategy and advisory firm that helps life science companies grow their businesses. Paul Danis is the Founder and Principal of the firm, providing leadership to life science companies on the commercialization and marketing of new technologies. He has spent over 20 years in the life science and instrumentation marketplace, working with emerging as well as established technologies.  Prior to founding Eastwoods Consulting, he was Director at Applied Biosystems, responsible for strategic direction and operation of the Proteomics Systems business.  During his time at Applied Biosystems he advanced the business to a leadership position in the $20B life science marketplace.  As Senior Manager of the instrumentation products at Perseptive Biosystems he brought several novel application platforms to the market, fueling the growth of the company.

Additionally Dr. Danis has extensive research experience from his role as Group Leader at Rohm and Haas Research Laboratories, as Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Basel, Switzerland, and as Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Labs.  He is the Vice-Chair of the WPI Venture Forum and a member of the Life Science Special Interest Committee of the MIT Enterprise Forum.  Dr. Danis has a Ph.D. from Cornell University in Analytical and Physical Chemistry and has published over 25 scientific papers.  When not helping clients grow their businesses, he can be found enjoying the outdoors of New England
