July 15, 2010 Update
BioTools and Biotech were down around 5% for the month while BigPharma inched up 2%. The OSI acquisition by Astellas was completed so Intermune replaces them in the Biotech index. Declines led advances 5 to 1 for BioTools and 2 to 1 in Biotech. AstraZeneca was the big winner up 12% for the month on analyst upgrades and the Crestor patent win.
